THE BEGINNING

In early 2017 Emily began to realize the historic, downtown community of St. Peter was in need of a high-end salon and spa right in their backyard.
“My dream was never to have my own salon but as my family grew and schedules became more difficult to manage I realized it was time to start the process. Every journey like ours contains many details, some good, some bad and some ugly. But after Ashley made her decision to join me as the co-owner of Fréy we knew we would do our best with our years of experience, drive and passion in the beauty industry. Our risk has paid off in more ways then one and we are so proud to be part of the St. Peter economy in an amazing, historically registered building we now call home. Our goal from day one was to provide high end services with a small-town feel. We are incredibly lucky to have an amazing team of women behind us to help see our vision through to its fullest potential.”
The Future
In November of 2019, Emily and Ashley quickly realized there was a high demand for spa services and well as hair. They were running out of space and needed to push ahead with future phase 2 (spa) plans. They chose to start the renovation of the lower level of the library which now is home to the Spa @ Fréy. With four treatment rooms, including a dual service room, lash/waxing space, 2 other beautiful rooms and separate entrance your choice of self-care is endless.
The SÄga continues
In fall of 2022 Emily and Ashley opened the new endeavor of Säga. A collective of lash extension artists, esthetic nurses, cosmetic tattoo artists and heated spray tanning technicians all working together to create a new beauty experience at SÄGA Beauty Collective by Fréy.
